Lee Cronin’s The Mummy Story
The story follows journalist Charlie Cannon and his family after their young daughter, Katie, disappears without a trace during a stay in Egypt. Her disappearance leaves the family devastated, with years passing without clear answers.
Eight years later, Katie is unexpectedly found alive inside a sealed coffin. Although her return initially seems like a miracle, the family soon discovers that something is terribly wrong. Katie begins displaying disturbing behaviour, and the reunion turns into a nightmare filled with frightening revelations.
As the family searches for answers, Detective Dalia Zaki investigates the mystery surrounding Katie’s disappearance. Ancient supernatural forces and horrifying secrets gradually emerge, threatening everyone involved.
Unlike a traditional adventure about Egyptian tombs, Lee Cronin’s The Mummy focuses on psychological terror, family trauma, supernatural horror and unsettling transformations.
